Step Into 1920s Italian Dining at The Goodfellas in Hollywood, FL

Some restaurants feed you. A few transport you. If you’re looking for Italian dining in Hollywood, FL with a little more story behind it, The Goodfellas is the kind of place where dinner turns into an evening you’ll talk about afterward.

Our dining room, at 1917 Hollywood Blvd, is inspired by 1920s Italian dining: low light, rich textures, old-world detail, and a table with a name. Here’s what to expect when you step inside.

A Dining Room With a Story

Start with the walls. Exposed brick runs the length of the room, lined with brass sconces, lanterns and framed black-and-white portraits. Two crystal chandeliers hang over tables dressed in white linen, with brass lamps and cut-crystal glassware at every setting. Italian flags and a white fedora or two on the walls add to the feel. The lighting is warm and intimate, the kind that makes everyone at the table look good and makes it easy to stay for another round.

Back by the wine wall, bottles are racked on dark wood and lit from behind, a fitting backdrop for an evening that’s meant to be savored.

Sit at a Table With a Name

This is where The Goodfellas stops being just a restaurant. Many of our tables are named after iconic crime-film families and characters, and each one is marked with a brass plaque. Sit at the Corleone Table, the Soprano Table, the Al Capone Table or the Bonanno Table, and your night has a theme before the menu even arrives.

It’s a small detail that turns a dinner reservation into an experience. If you have a favorite, or a friend who’s a die-hard fan of one family in particular, ask for it when you book.

Dressed for the Part

The room is only half the picture. Our team dresses to complement the vintage atmosphere, so the people serving you look like they belong in the scene: 1920s-style outfits complete with fedoras and suspenders. It’s a touch of theater that makes the whole room feel committed to the story, without ever getting in the way of good, warm hospitality.

Traditional Italian Cuisine, Served in Character

A themed restaurant is only as good as its food, and the kitchen is where The Goodfellas earns its keep. The menu leans on traditional Italian cooking:

  • Pizza in two crusts, Neapolitan or Deep Dish, with names like Corleone and Scarface
  • Antipasti such as burrata, caprese, bruschette and salumi and cheese boards
  • Primi including Lasagna della Mamma, gnocchi, cannelloni and parmigiana
  • Calzoni named for the family: Don Vito, Michael, Sonny and Fredo
  • Dolci from Sicilian cannoli to tiramisù

Pair it with an Italian wine, whether that’s an Amarone, a Barbera d’Alba, a Prosecco, or a bottle of Champagne.

Birthdays and celebrations. A table with a name, a few pizzas to share, and a round of cannoli make a celebration feel like an occasion. It’s easy to bring a group, and the room is memorable enough that everyone will remember where you went.

Dinner with friends. Order the antipasti boards and a couple of pies for the table, keep the wine flowing, and let the night run long. We stay open until 2 AM every day, so there’s no rush.
